Tapaculo Syrah

Chile has become one of the most rapidly growing wine producing countries in the world with one major signature style. They have taken some classic French grapes, known all throughout the world, and made them with a special New World flair, which gives the wines of Chile a beautiful and harmonious blend of Old and New World.

A brilliant example of what Chile does so well is their work with Syrah. Known famously around the world for its elegant and slightly spicy palate from the Rhone, it showed a whole new dimension when it was made in Chile. This is accentuated by the fact that the wines of Tapaculo are all estate grown and bottled, showcasing the true flavors of the region.

This Syrah is simply beautiful. It has a nice and elegant palate, a signature of Syrah around the world. This version has a lovely set of dark berry fruit on the nose, as well as the palate. It also has a round, earthiness that provides a lovely balance. It is a truly remarkable wine. The classic pairing for Syrah is a rack of lamb, however, we might recommend a lovely steak with some fresh chimichurri, to provide some fantastic New World flavor.
