Vinho Rose a Deja De Silgueiros

The Terras do Dao region has historical references to wine production dating back to the 12th century, and Portugal has long been one of the most renowned European suppliers of great roses.  In recent years, these have been drier and more delicate than in the past.  Produced from 40% Jean (pronounced “Zsa-een”), 40% Touriga Nacional, and 20% Aragones (also better known in other countries as Tempranillo), Silgueiros Rose is a lively pink wine with a bright fruit and floral aroma, fresh and crisp fruit flavors, and a nice long finish.  Excellent with sunshine and barbequed pork.
